Social Media

As an independent author I must rely in large part to the cost effectiveness and efficiency of social media. Most are free of charge at the moment. Every author must add Goodreads to their arsenal of social media tool, because its sole purpose is to literary endeavors. Below is a sample of the connection you can make with Goodreads directly from your site with the use of Widgets.

However, Goodreads should not be your only option if you want at much coverage as possible. In the following table I will provide a link to a separate page on the varying social media tools you might use and information you can use to assist you in your independent authoring / publishing journey.

A website also is highly important to your success as an author. Your website can not only link readers to your stories, but all the other revenue streams you intend to guard as your intellectual property. Although I contract out at $40 per hour to assist with your journey, I believe in giving you enough information to try on your own. If you want to share information to help others, feel free to send me an email and I will update this site.
